My Firsts

Hi all - sorry I've been too quiet lately. DH and I haven't been garage saling much because we've been getting projects done around the house. We have decided to start going into the city to the garage sales there the first of May (actually after posting this it dawned on me that the first of May is this Saturday - where does the time go). In the meantime I decided to show off one of my first garage sale finds, back when we first got together. This cost me $30 - unfortunately, I couldn't get her to budge on the price. However, it's been one of my favorite pieces.

Right now I have it hanging in the bathroom for storage. Yes, as soon as possible this room will be getting a major overhaul and the horrible 70's wood paneling will be gone. :)

This guy didn't come from a garage sale but since he's always being cute I'm always taking pictures of him.

Until next time . . .

you know, I like paneling, but I don't live in your house.
My parents house is mostly paneled. Dad painted the garage paneling white a few years ago and it looks really nice, very cottage-y

That is a cool cabinet, it is too bad she wouldn't come down on the price. Sounds like an exciting up coming project in your bathroom :)
