Kroger and Target Clearance

I'm dreaming of summer. Seriously!! This crazy weather has got me bummed. We woke up this morning to all frozen pipes. We finally got water running again by noon. Trust me we left the pipes dripping but that didn't help. I'm definitely a summer person and not a 17 degree weather person. However, that didn't stop DH and I from venturing out the other night to pick up a few groceries and check out the Target 90% clearance. I was really wanting to find more than one roll of these great ornaments from Target but was thankful that there was at least one left. I saw these on another blog and thought they were absolutely beautiful. Here's what we did get and our totals.

Slots Game $2.48
Grinch Ornament .59
2 boxes Ornaments .25 each
Roll of Ornaments .50
Big Ornament .39

From Kroger
4 Plates .63 each
4 Glasses .31 each
Santa with Girl 3.75
Bird Ornament .75
These little cars came from Target $1.99

This Santa and Little Girl is my find of the night.

This red bird ornament was DH's pick.

I'm joining Smiling Sally for Blue Monday.

I'm joining Bloggeritaville for Thrifty Thursday.

It's a Very Cherry World

Until next time Happy Thrifting.

Looks like I'm a little late responding to your pink post. But I would like to say you have some very pretty pink things. I agree, the Santa and little girl is so nice. I really like the cardinal, too, though. You sure got some great steals! Rosie

A sale is a great thing especially if you really want that particular something. Isn't it crazy that before Christmas, the prices go high on decors and just after the Holidays everything goes down? Well, aren't we all smart ladies to think that :-)After all there's still next year :-)

Belated PS! You're right, your living room is almost all pink :-)

Li

I'm sick of the cold too. I hope that your pipes get fixed and the water stays on. You got some nice items, and I see some pretty blues. Happy Blue Monday.

I went to Target when everything was 50% off, and got a few things. It was very tempting to check out the 90% off, but I restrained myself! You got alot of great things. I love Target, don't you?!

You did great with the after Christmas sales. I love the red Santa with the little girl. It's kind of vintage looking. Wish we had a Kroger's out here!

Well done, Annabelle! You found lots of goodies!
Sorry I am so late. As it ended up, we did have a (6 hour) 2AM-8Am stint in the ER with my son. Praise God, all is ok. But,it's taken me some time to recover from being up all night. Alas, I am late in getting around to everyone this week. My apologies.
Sincere thanks for linking up to Tales from Bloggeritville Thrifty Thursday!

HUGS,
Leigh
