Pink Saturday 1/31/2010

Pink Saturday

Last day of January. Another month has flown by. Lately I've been discussing a past time of mine, couponing. I can't remember how to shop without using coupons - LOL. One of my favorite magazines to purchase when couponing is AllYou. You can find this magazine at the check out counter at most WalMart stores. They're usually packed with coupons.

Speaking of couponing I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I e-mail companies about this time of year to let them know how much I love their products. Normally for doing this they will send you a token of their gratification. Lately I've gotten . . .

Bar S - VIP Certificate and 4 .25 Q's
Lance - 3 Frees
Brawny - 3 .55 Q's
Starkist - 2 $1 off 3 cans
Alouette - 1 Free and 2 $1 off Q's
Domino - 1 $1 off Q
Scott - 2 $1 off Q's
Polident - 1 $2 off Q
Promised Land Milk - 4 different coupons
Seapak - 3 different coupons
Fresh Express - 2 FE coupons and 2 Chiquita coupons
Energizer - 3 $1 off coupons
Tennessee Pride - 2 .55 coupons
Johnsonville - 2 $1 off coupons
Bruce's Yams - 3 $1 off coupons
JollyTime - 3 various coupons
Tai Pei - 2 $1 off coupons
White Castle - 2 $1 off coupons
Minute Rice - 1 Free and 2 .50 Q's

This goes to show that it pays to talk to companies and let them know what a great job they're doing.

Until next time . . .

Happy Pink Saturday! I have wrote companies for other reasons. Several times I wrote companies to explain that all the puzzle pieces are not in the box. They usually will send a new one. Another time a gym set for toddlers was lacking one piece so the company sent a whole new set. But, I never thought to write companies and tell them what a good product they have. Nice idea!

Coupons. I always end up clipping them, saving them, forgetting to use them. It looks like it really works when you really do it. That's a neat idea and very rewarding to write and hear back from a company w/a little something for ya. Thanks for stopping by my Dee-vine Ms. Bo-vine post. Jenn

It's always so much fun for me to travel from blog to blog on Pink Saturday. Each and every entry is different and each and every one makes me smile and feel all pink from the inside out☺

Today, 'tis cold up here, near zero, so I need all the little pink rays of sunshine I can gather 'round and your blog certainly has helped to warm my pinkie ♥.

I ♥ that magazine! Packed with oodles of good stuff.

Thanks so much for sharing this week. Your blog is wonderful and filled with so much to see and to read!

I've been getting thriftier myself this year but mostly by not buying in the first place. Next step may be to be better about using coupons. Happy Pink Saturday.
