Pink Saturday 1/9/2010

Pink Saturday

This week Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly is back to Pink and I wanted to share some of the pink you see floating around my living room. To tell you the truth I could probably share my whole living room with you for pink Saturday because well it's . . .

PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see though the ceiling in the back of the room is another one of those home repairs needing to be done and is that a toy hiding under my end table LOL. Wonder if DH would let me paint the whole house PINK. He probably would. I know a lot of women say the hubby's would never let them decorate their house girly. My DH is opposite - as long as he's got his recliner and big TV he doesn't care how the rest of the house looks. God bless him!!

To share some of my favorite pinks from around the room. . .

This mirror came from a community garage sale this past summer $5. I may eventually paint the frame white but not sure right now.

This cloche was given to me. It was brown so I gave it an overhaul. The teacup inside came from a garage sale this season $1.

This was the first picture DH and I bought together. Not a garage sale find though - this one was full price.

Until next time Happy Pink Saturday!

You're right...your living room is a good place to feature Pink. Your Colache is really neat and soooo thrifty. I'm seeing lots of cloches lately. It's kind of a new thingy for me, and I've got some collections that would make a neat one. Thanks for the idea! Have a great Pink Saturday....Sue

I love your pinks! The mirror is beautiful and I would think about painting it white(or a pale pale pink)...but that's just me. What a great Hubby to let you enjoy your Pinkness!

Love all your pinks..and the cloche with the teacup under is just gorgeous. I found one at a thrift store and left it sitting there while I looked more. I went back to get it..and *sighs..it was gone. I should have known better. I will next time. Happy Pink Saturday and have a most wonderful weekend.

I'm a day late and a dollar short☺ Was able to leave some messages for Pink Saturday yesterday and finishing up today. Over the holidays I was MIA from PS and really missed it but knew that I wouldn't be able to visit many blogs. I'm back today and must say that it feels so good to visit familiar places - like coming home again.

Today you made my little, pinkie ♥ smile. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely blog. Hoping this next week is filled with sunshine and the laughter of friends and family☺

Hi Annabelle,
Sorry, but I've been running a little behind on my Pink Saturday visits. Anyway...cute pink livingroom. And yay to your hubby! What a sweety that he would let you decorate in your own sweet style. Happy to say my hubby is the same. Don't you just love it? Have a wonderful day.
