A trip to Goodwill

So today I took a car load of stuff to Goodwill this morning - still working on that Spring cleaning. While there I couldn't resist the urge to peek inside and see if I could find anything special.

Sorry for using the washer for background - everything else is covered with stuff to go through. More Spring cleaning to do so looks like this isn't my last trip to Goodwill.

What are these? I don't really know what their true identity is but what I see are Mini-Cloche's.

I tried to use this saucer as an example but it's too big. However, you get the idea I'm sure. I did find some saucers that worked perfectly at Goodwill but didn't like the pattern on them so the search is on.

I picked up these 4 goblets for $3.99. I'm in a goblet phase right now and figured they'd work great in a future tablescape. There was a lone blue one which I left there, although now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have gotten it. There were also some beautiful clear goblets with flowers on them but they only had three so I passed. My new goblets actually look very similar to the ones I bought this past summer at a garage sale for .25 a piece as pictured below. . .

However, there were only three and I didn't really think about it until I got home. So now I'm wondering if I should keep them and try to find the match or send them to a new home. Decisions, decisions . . .

Until Next time . . .

Anna, I have a couple of those little cloches. They actually have a wood base that the globe fits on and I have little statues under them, but I am going to make some little seasonal scenes with them. Love the goblets. I bought 3 I liked and still looking for more. I have found some great bargains recently, but I think my favorite is the very tiny crib they brought out before they got the Do Not Sale orders for baby beds. I have a porcelian baby doll that a lady made for my mom to give to me for my birthday and I found a new quilted king size pillow that makes a great mattress. I think I posted it quite some time ago. I love thrifting, but my gf doesn't and I don't have a car except on weekends. Going to visit that coupon site. Always looking to save money. Hugs,Pat :}

I think those will be great cloches. Your stemware is so pretty. I wish we had a great GW store around us. I'm laughing about you taking stuff to them and coming home with more stuff. That is so what I would do! laurie

I got in a pedestal phase with my glasses too. DH doesn't go for it so I only got four and use them for company dinner. Great finds at GW! :)

Thank you so much for your visit to my blog.
I think you did great at the GW, I love to find a bargin but our GW is pricing things higher than at the store for some items so I don't find as much as I used to, so it is garage sale for me now.

I haven't been to my GW store in awhile and I sure do miss it! However, I have a stash of GW finds in my upstairs closet waiting for a makeover! I'm sure my hubby would love me dragging more home! :)

Have a great rest of the week!
